Bridgette was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and spent her growing years prowling various shorelines and port towns of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. She began drawing from the time she was old enough to grasp a crayon, filling many a sketchbook over the years before branching out into oil painting, portraiture, building and welding.

      Eventually Bridgette attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, graduating with a BFA in 2008. She currently resides in Halifax and paints full time.
